Assistant Professor of Surgery University of California, San Francisco

The Department of Surgery, University of California, San Francisco, has an immediate need for a full- time, academic, Board-Certified/Board Eligible thoracic surgeon with advanced training and demonstrated excellent clinical skills in cardiothoracic surgery. Candidates must also have recognized skills in the education of Medical Students, Residents and Fellows. The position will be at the level of Assistant Professor.

Candidates with experience and proven abilities in all areas of general thoracic surgery including minimally invasive surgery and a strong interest in clinical outcomes and/or basic research are encouraged to apply.
