Position description

Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (Health Science Clinical or Clinical X series) - Genitourinary Medical Oncology Program

The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology/Oncology are recruiting for a new faculty member at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Genitourinary Medical Oncology Program.

Candidates must have an MD or DO and be ABIM eligible or certified in medical oncology. Candidates must have also completed appropriate clinical research training and demonstrated an interest or promising track record in clinical and/or translational research.

Candidates will have the responsibility for patient care in all of the major genitourinary malignancies. The successful candidate will participate in a robust clinical and translational research program in GU Medical Oncology, in the context of an established multidisciplinary team. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to become a member of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center with access to all core resources and abundant opportunities for collaboration. The appointment will be made in the Health Sciences Clinical or Clinical X series at a rank compatible with the candidate's qualifications.
