General Pediatric Cardiologist
HS Clinical or Clinical X Series

The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals are recruiting a new faculty member to provide pediatric cardiology inpatient, outpatient, and echocardiography imaging support. The faculty member will attend on the Cardiology inpatient service, Cardiology outpatient clinics, and in the echocardiography lab. Appointment will be made at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank of the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical or Clinical X series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.

Required qualifications include a medical degree and license; Board Certification in Pediatrics and subspecialty certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology; including formal clinical training or adequate experience in transthoracic, fetal, and transesophageal echocardiography. Advanced 4th year pediatric fellowship training and/or three years’ practice experience is preferred as is interest and experience in teaching and clinical research.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
