Faculty Positions | Division of Movement Disorders and Neuromodulation, UCSF Dept of Neurology

The Division of Movement Disorders and Neuromodulation in the Department of Neurology is recruiting two faculty members for appointment to the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks of the Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence faculty series. Qualified candidates must possess a medical degree and California medical license, Board certification or eligibility in Neurology, and completed fellowship training in Movement Disorders by the time of appointment. Candidate’s CV and/or cover letter must list qualifications (or if pending) upon submission. The Division seeks two candidates who will perform a primary clinical and educational role in the Movement Disorders and Neuromodulation Division in the Department of Neurology at UCSF. There may also be opportunity to perform clinical work and provide education to Movement Disorder clinical fellows at the Parkinson's Disease Research, Education and Clinical Center (PADRECC) at the San Francisco VA Medical Center (SFVAMC). Clinical responsibilities will include comprehensive care of movement disorder patients including medical and surgical evaluation and management, chemodenervation, and deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming. Educational activities will involve clinical and didactic teaching of fellows, as well as neurology residents and medical students. There are also opportunities for participation in clinical research.
