MEDICINE SERVICE/DEPARTMENT OF INTERNAL MEDICINE
PHYSICIAN – Associate Chief of Medicine

VA Central California Health Care System, Fresno, CA, affiliated with University of California, San Francisco Medical Residency Program, leader in health care quality is recruiting for a full-time faculty member for the Associate Chief of Medicine position. Willing to consider qualified applicants from internal medicine or associated subspecialty. This position will report to the Chief of Medicine and be responsible for specialty care sections of medicine which may include any area that falls under the medicine service. VA provides patient centered care, delivered by engaged, collaborative teams in an integrated environment that supports learning and continuous improvement. The candidate must be a physician of high caliber and have outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills. As a member of the VA professional leadership team, the candidate must be knowledgeable in supervisory duties, administrative responsibilities, and provide high quality veteran-centered care within their area of specialty. Our leadership team embodies the blueprint for excellence and is expected to exemplify a strong work ethic, integrity and high-quality standards. Required Qualifications:

Fresno is located 3 hours south of San Francisco and just 2 hours from 3 national parks, including Yosemite, and year-round recreation.
