Position description

The Division of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) is searching to fill a full-time position (100% time) in the School of Dentistry. This position will have the primary responsibility for teaching in the pre-doctoral program, as well as didactic and clinical care responsibilities in the post-doctoral residency program. The appointment will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Applicants should be graduates of a CODA approved post-doctoral training program in Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, applicants should be Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry or Board Eligible and in the process of obtaining Diplomate status.

Candidate should have previous experience in clinical and didactic teaching with pre-doctoral dental students. They will be expected to work in collaboration with other UCSF Pediatric Dentistry faculty members, and be prepared to make significant contributions in curriculum design and implementation, development of didactic course materials, and participate in over-site of the pre- doctoral clinical teaching program.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
