UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Health

The Department of Neurology at UCSF is recruiting faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and full Professor ranks of the Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, and In Residence faculty series. The selected candidates will be appointed to our Division of Epilepsy.

Qualified candidates will possess a valid medical license and Board certification in Neurology. Preferred qualifications include completion of a clinical fellowship in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology with additional Board certification or eligibility in these fields. Experience in evaluating patients for seizure surgery and intensive care EEG is also strongly preferred.

The Division of Epilepsy anticipates considerable growth of our surgery volume over the next few years. Thus, the clinical faculty positions will have attending responsibilities at the outpatient Epilepsy Clinics and the inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) at Parnassus and may have additional duties at the adult hospital at Mission Bay, the Benioff Children’s Hospitals, and Zuckerberg San Francisco General as needed.
