Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the Cornea Division
Department of Ophthalmology
University of California, San Francisco

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a cornea clinician-scientist to fill a full-time faculty position who will be appointed at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.

In addition to NIH grant funded research, the candidate will provide cornea and comprehensive clinical services at one or more of our multiple Bay Area clinical sites, and participate in medical student, resident, and fellow education.

Requirements:
The successful candidate is required to develop or advance an internationally recognized, independent and extramurally funded research program in the basic, translational, or clinical sciences relevant to corneal disease. Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent degree and have a CA license or be eligible for full, unrestricted licensure, and have completed fellowship training in cornea and external disease. Demonstrated teaching competency as well as demonstrated success in translational or laboratory research are essential. Applicant must have all requirements met by time of hire.
