The Department of Neurology at UCSF invites applications from exceptional clinicians for full-time clinical faculty appointments in our General Neurology Outpatient Practice, located in San Francisco. Applicants must possess a medical degree and Board eligibility or certification in Neurology at the time of appointment. Candidate's application materials must state qualifications (or if pending) upon submission. Appointment rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications for the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Adjunct, or Clinical X series.
Responsibilities will include providing direct patient care in the outpatient setting and supervision of housestaff and students in the adult neurology resident continuity clinic. Three or more years of teaching experience is preferred, as responsibilities in this area include didactic and informal teaching in the outpatient clinic setting. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment and experience working with underserved patients are strongly desirable.
