Junior Specialist – Jura Lab

The Cardiovascular Research Institute at University of California, San Francisco is seeking for a Junior Specialist. The essential responsibilities are to conduct molecular cloning, protein expression, purification and biophysical characterization in preparation for structural studies by Xray crystallography and/or cryo-electron microscopy. Training will be provided in all these areas.

Required Qualifications:
• Specialists appointed at the junior rank must possess a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or must have at least four years of research experience.
• Possess basic laboratory skills in molecular biology.
