The Division of Movement Disorders and Neuromodulation in the Department of Neurology is recruiting a faculty member for appointment to the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks of the Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence faculty series. Qualified candidates must possess a medical degree and California medical license, Board certification or eligibility in Neurology, and completed fellowship training in Movement Disorders by the time of appointment. Candidate’s CV and/or cover letter must list qualifications (or if pending) upon submission.
The Division seeks a candidate who will perform a primary clinical and educational role at the Parkinson's Disease Research, Education and Clinical Center (PADRECC) at the San Francisco VA Medical Center (SFVAMC). The individual will also participate in clinical and educational activities at the UCSF campus. Clinical responsibilities will include comprehensive care of movement disorder patients including medical and surgical evaluation and management, chemodenervation, and deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming. Educational activities will involve clinical and didactic teaching of UCSF medical students, neurology residents, and Movement Disorder clinical fellows. We are particularly seeking candidates who also have interest or experience in clinical research.
