Associate Specialist- Rubenstein Lab

The Department of Psychiatry is now recruiting an Associate Specialist. The job duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis of mutant mouse brain phenotypes using molecular methods such as ISH and IHC.
  • Perform genomic/epigenomic analyses using ChIP-seq
  • Perform gene regulation assays using CrisprA

Required Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. degree and postdoctoral experience
  • Expertise in biochemistry, genetics and developmental neurobiology in the study of mouse and human cortex development with a focus on molecular/genetics underpinnings of human neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Expertise in the neurogenetics of autism
  • Expertise in mouse molecular developmental neurogenetics and epigenetics
