Position description


The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pulmonologist for a full time faculty position as a Clinical Educator in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine. The candidate must have completed (or in process of completing) training in a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program and is expected to have met the requirements for appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor at UCSF. Applicant must have all requirements met by time of hire and applicant’s materials must list (pending) qualifications upon submission. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the clinical care of patients with advanced pulmonary disease as well as training Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellows. A track record of academic productivity is essential, as the candidate will be expected to collaborate in research and participate in continuous process improvements in patient care.
