Academic Coordinator

The Academic Coordinator will work on creating reports, data visualizations and dashboards to support the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging’s financial and operational goals. The Coordinator will collaborate and independently design strategies for: 1) Aggregating and analyzing data to meet department-wide financial and operational goal requirements; 2) Creating appealing, and easy-to-understand data visualizations and reports: and 3) Disseminating the financial/operational data and system expertise.

The Coordinator must have a master’s degree and should have a strong computational systems analysis background and will employ different tools to extract and present data. They will identify data sources appropriate to clinical reporting needs and extracts information from various campus and departmental systems (e.g., Insight, EPIC/Clarity reports, Qgenda, Cognos, Hyperion Planning, ZSFG, and Medical Group data warehouse as well as other campus data sources). The Coordinator will be the Department of Radiology’s Tableu administrator and will use the expertise on that tool and other data visualization tools to provide reports to the Department of Radiology’s financial, operational and clinical leaders as needed.
