Health Science Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor Hospital-Based Oncology
The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology/Oncology are recruiting for a new faculty member in the Hospital-Based Oncology Program.
Candidates must have a MD degree and be ABIM board-certified or eligible in Medical Oncology. Candidates should have strong expertise in clinical care, ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate/transition care between inpatient/outpatient settings, and good understanding of health care systems to manage patient care needs. Interest in education, operations, and/or informatics highly encouraged.
Candidates will have the responsibility for patient care in a hospital-based oncology consult setting, and will also have the opportunity for relevant operational, educational or research activities. The appointment will be made in the Health Sciences Clinical series at a rank compatible with the candidate's qualifications.
