Professional Researcher- Marson Lab

We are looking for an exceptional self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a dynamic research team as a Senior Project Manager in the office of Alex Marson, Scientific Director of Biomedicine at the Innovative Genomics Institute (IGI) and tenured Associate Professor at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). The successful candidate will work with Dr. Marson and his administrative assistant to manage a variety of his scientific affairs, including working with relevant staff to coordinate all research activities, develop and implement management plans and strategies for research, and preparation of manuscripts and grants. A key role in this position is to assist the Director with all written communications, both general and scientific. Projects will relate to a variety of areas including genomic research and immunology with an emphasis on scientific collaboration management, fund raising, recruiting, public relations, and administration.

Required Qualifications:
• A relevant doctorate or its equivalent
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of genomics, immunology, gene editing, and/or human genetics
