Specialist- Tymofiyeva Lab

We are looking for a Junior or Assistant Specialist who is an enthusiastic and motivated to join our lab focused on adolescent neuroimaging and adolescent mental health. In particular, the successful candidate will be assisting with recruitment, MRI scans, and psychometric assessments of study participants, as well as with data analyses. In addition, the applicant will be expected to attend regular lab meetings and to perform additional duties in the lab as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Junior Specialist position - a minimum of baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) in biology, psychology or related sciences or at least four years of research experience
• Assistant Specialist position - a minimum of master’s degree or equivalent in biomedical imaging or related sciences, or five years of experience in the relevant specialization
• one or more years of neuroimaging research experience
• previous experience in working with adolescents
• training in administering Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) and Children's Depression Rating Scale-Revised (CDRS-R)
• ability to organize data and keep detailed records
• knowledge of the principles of MRI and familiarity with neuroimaging procedures
• programming skills in Matlab
• excellent communication skills (both oral and written) in English

Preferred Qualifications:
• experience of scoring psychological assessments
• neuroimaging data analysis skills
• excellent organization skill and attention to detail
• excellent time and task management skills
• ability to work effectively in a team environment
• ability to work independently and assess need for assistance from supervisor
