Position description

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking an Abdominal Imaging Radiologist for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.

The selected candidate must have clinical expertise in all areas of abdominal imaging, including diagnostic CT, MRI, ultrasound, as well as image-guided biopsies. Experience in obstetric ultrasound would be an additional valuable skill. The selected applicant will provide clinical services a UCSF Health sites and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.

The selected candidate is also expected to supervise trainees and to provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows. The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.

The position requires a MD degree (or equivalent) upon application submission. Ability (or eligible) to practice medicine in California, fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging (completed by appointment start date), and expertise in Abdominal Imaging . Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) in Radiology. Applicant must list all of these qualifications (or if pending) on their CV upon submission.
