HS Clinical or Clinical X Series; Assistant or Associate Professor

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of California San Francisco invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in the faculty series within the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Global Health. Primary responsibilities will include clinical care and teaching on the Pediatric Infectious Disease inpatient consult service as well as outpatient ID clinic consultation at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, San Francisco and/or Oakland. Candidates with interest and experience in the care of immunocompromised hosts are encouraged to apply, as the division aims to develop a specialized service to meet the needs of this population. Additional opportunities may include investigator-initiated clinical or translational research, antimicrobial stewardship, telemedicine, or leadership roles in education. Faculty series and rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

Applicant must be eligible for a California medical license and have achieved American Board of Pediatrics certification/eligibility in Infectious Diseases; must possess at least three years of experience providing clinical care in pediatric infectious diseases; and at least three years of experience teaching/mentoring medical students, residents, and/or Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellows. Applicants who recently completed Fellowship training are welcome to apply.
