Neurosurgeon

The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Neurosurgeon at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Health Science Clinical series or the In-Residence series to join its rapidly growing Neurotrauma program. Applicants should have a strong academic background and a desire to contribute to the development of a world-class program. All candidates must have a MD, MD and PhD, or DO degree and the candidate must be board certified or eligible in Neurological Surgery.

The position is based at the San Francisco General Hospital Campus, the Level I Trauma Center for San Francisco. Responsibilities include participation in ongoing clinical and translational research programs at the UCSF Brain and Spinal Injury Center as well as establishing an independent basic or clinical research effort. Other responsibilities include the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.
