Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center
The Department of Pathology of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG) seek an outstanding candidate for a full-time faculty position (at the Clinical Instructor in the Health Sciences Series or an Assistant Professor level in the Health Sciences Series or Clinical X Series) as an anatomic pathologist with an interest in head and neck, gynecologic pathology or urologic pathology. The individual will also be expected to participate in clinical research. She/he is expected to participate in departmental teaching activities for medical students, house-staff, and fellows, and in interdepartmental conferences. Appointment and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and training.
Candidates must have a valid California medical license (or qualifications to obtain one by time of appointment), and be Board Certified or eligible for certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications in cytopathology, a surgical pathology fellowship, or anatomic pathology subspecialty fellowship training.
