FACULTY POSITION IN ORAL PATHOLOGY
UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA SAN FRANCISCO
The University of California San Francisco (UCSF), Department of Orofacial Sciences invites applications for a position at the Assistant Professor level, tenure track or clinical series, in the Division of Oral Medicine, Pathology and Radiology. The successful candidate will be primarily expected to develop, sustain and lead an extramurally funded program of fundamental and/or translational research in an area related to oral disease. A start-up package will be available to assist the development of a leading program of scientific investigation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in clinical service within the UCSF Dermatopathology and Oral Pathology Service, to care for patients within the Oral Medicine Clinic and to contribute to the educational activities of predoctoral, postgraduate and graduate students in the School of Dentistry. The applicant must possess a DDS (or equivalent) and be certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced graduate education preferably to the PhD level that has suitably prepared them for a successful and leading scientific career in academia. Salary will be commensurate with experience and credentials.

Close academic, research and clinical links exist with the UCSF School of Medicine, the Helen Diller Family UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center, the AIDS Research Institute, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery as well as other units.
