The research scientist will be responsible for the day to day project activities of 2 research projects: 1) To investigate the DNA damage response of human cells following PARP inhibition and ionizing radiation using cell culture models and patient derived tissue. 2). To credential murine tumor derived transplants in regards to heterogeneity, relevance to human cancer and reproducibility, and to characterize the DNA damage response and evaluate immune cell infiltrates. The research scientist will also be responsible for executing experiments designed with the principal investigator, analyzing data and preparing data for publication and presentation. Some supervision of students and staff may also be required.
• PhD in Radiobiology
• Expertise in the DNA damage response
• Knowledge of TGFbeta biology
• Experience with primary tumor explants
• Completion of post-doctoral fellowship
