The Department of Dermatology, School of Medicine, University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a senior faculty member for the UCSF Dermatopathology & Oral Pathology Service. A full-time position is available (In residence, Clinical X or HS Clinical series depending on the candidate) at the Associate or Full ranks with emphasis on diagnostic dermatopathology, teaching and scholarship. Outstanding opportunities are available for research and intramural practice and include close collaborations with the Department of Pathology or the Department of Dermatology¸ where a joint appointment will be offered to a suitably qualified candidate. MD or equivalent with Board certification in Pathology or Dermatology and with certification in dermatopathology is required.
UCSF and its Medical Center are widely recognized as leading academic and healthcare institutions. UCSF comprises the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy, and a number of hospitals and outpatient clinics. Close academic and clinical links exist with the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center, UCSF Dermatology, the other campus Schools and other clinical specialties.
