Chief of Pediatric Ophthalmology – BCHO
Faculty – UCSF Department of Ophthalmology

The Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland (BCHO) at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position as an Ophthalmologist for the position of Chief, Pediatric Ophthalmology Service at BCHO. This individual will be responsible for administration of the
ophthalmology and optometric services at BCHO, patient care and surgery, and oversight of the East Bay pediatric ophthalmology practices. This individual is encouraged to develop or advance an independent, grant funded research program. This individual will be appointed to the UCSF Ophthalmology Faculty,
and to the pediatric ophthalmology division’s executive leadership group. Candidates must have a distinguished record of excellence in administration, clinical care, teaching and research.

REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Candidates must hold an MD degree and have a CA medical license or be eligible for a full, unrestricted licensure. Candidate must be Board Certified (ABO) or board eligible. Candidates must meet the basic qualifications by the time of appointment. Rank and salary commensurate with experience.
