Assistant /Associate Professor Position

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting for a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon. As a member of the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics, candidates will provide diagnostic, interventional and surgical management for children with the full spectrum of musculoskeletal diagnoses.

The incumbent will be expected to collaborate in clinical care, investigative work leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as resident, fellow and medical student education. He or she will work primarily at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, but will have full access to all UCSF sites, including the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital at Mission Bay. Requirements include board-certification or board-eligibility, in addition to completion of a fully accredited orthopaedic surgery residency and a pediatric orthopaedic fellowship program.

A valid California medical license will be required as a condition of employment
MD or DO degree from an accredited program
Completed an accredited orthopaedic surgery residency program Completed a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship
Board certification/eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
