The UCSF Mouse Metabolism Core is seeking a full-time staff at the rank of Junior or Assistant Specialist to perform metabolic studies on rodents. The successful candidate appointed at the junior level musthave a B.Sc degree and basic knowledge in biological sciences, data analysis, and development of experimental protocols or at least four years of research experience (e.g., with instrumentation and research equipment, social science research methods, or creative activities). Candidate appointed at the Assistant level at minimum must possess a master’s degree (or equivalent degree) or at least five years of experience in the relevant specialization. The candidate should also demonstrate superb communication skills in speaking and writing, attentions to details, and the ability to work in a team setting. Having the ability to handle rodents is a must, and being flexible in work schedule to accommodate experimental needs is highly desirable.
