Assistant or Associate Professor in Residence – Hematology or Medical Oncology Physician Scientist

The UCSF Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine at UCSF is looking to recruit a full time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with a strong laboratory based research background in oncological or hematological malignancies, as well as clinical experience in medical oncology or hematology.

Candidates must have an MD Degree and be ABIM board certified or eligible in medical oncology and/or hematology. Candidates will be expected to develop a laboratory-based research program; areas of focus may include, but are not limited to, cancer immunology, signal transduction, omics, and drug discovery, and should ideally have some translational relevance. The incumbent will provide limited clinical outpatient care and teach and/or mentor trainees. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to become a member of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center with access to all core resources and abundant opportunities for collaboration in translational science.
