The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking an Ultrasound and Abdominal Imaging Radiologist for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.
Faculty are expected to develop a clinical or more basic research program in the area of one's specialty focus. Responsibilities include clinical service, teaching and research. The selected candidate will supervise and teach residents, fellows and medical students in Ultrasound and Abdominal Imaging. Obligations will include clinical work primarily at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, with some time also at the UCSF Moffitt/Long Hospital, VA Medical Center, UCSF/Mt. Zion, China Basin Outpatient Facility, and/or Mission Bay Hospital, all of which are affiliated teaching, clinical and research facilities of UCSF.
The position requires an MD degree (or equivalent), ability to practice medicine in California, expertise in both Ultrasound and Abdominal Imaging, and completion of fellowship training in Ultrasound and Abdominal Imaging by the start date of the faculty appointment. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) in Radiology. The requirements are to be met by the time of the faculty appointment start date.
