The University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry, Department of Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences, is seeking part-time faculty members in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series (at the ranks of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) to support its teaching programs in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). The appointment will be in the Department’s Division of Behavioral Sciences and Community Dental Education.

UCSF is committed to the teaching and practice of diagnostic centric, highly preventative and minimally invasive dentistry. Primary duties will include clinical teaching and supervision of AEGD residents, including lecture and seminar covering all areas of general dentistry including diagnosis, treatment planning, prevention, restorative, endodontics, Orthodontics, removable and fixed prosthodontics, surgical periodontics and implant surgeries.

The individuals selected must have U.S. DDS/DMD or an equivalent degree and must have current or be eligible for California dental licensure. At least three years of clinical dental experience is preferred. Previous postdoctoral/residency teaching experience is preferred.

Academic rank and salary level will be based on the successful applicant’s experience.
