The Department of Physiology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Outstanding candidates who use modern techniques and approaches to interrogate fundamental questions of physiology pertaining to cell, tissue, and organism-wide processes are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate is expected to have completed a PhD, MD, or an MD/PhD degree.
Our department is the home to world-renowned laboratories working in the fields of membrane physiology, cell biology, neuroscience, and metabolism (https://physiology.ucsf.edu). The UCSF Mission Bay campus offers a vibrant atmosphere for collaboration among basic science and clinical departments, as well as state of-the-art research facilities. The successful applicant will be expected to establish an exciting, leading-edge research program and participate in graduate and postdoctoral training.
