Associate/Full Professor - Institute for Aging and Rejuvenation
The Department of Anatomy at the University of California San Francisco seeks outstanding candidates, for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level. Outstanding scientists in the field of aging, broadly defined, will be considered. Candidates must have a PhD, MD or equivalent degree. The successful candidate is expected to lead and develop the research effort in the newly-funded Institute of Aging Research and Rejuvenation. We are particularly interested in applicants with a strong record of published research using molecular approaches, model organisms and computational biology. The successful candidate will become a member of the Biomedical Sciences (BMS) or Biological Sciences (PIBS) graduate research programs and will participate in professional and graduate student teaching. Salary and appointment rank will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and training.
