Assistant Professor in Developmental Biology

The Department of Cell and Tissue Biology in the School of Dentistry at the University of California San Francisco, invites applications for a junior investigator tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates should have a Ph.D., M.D. or D.D.S. degree and a productive post-doctoral training record, and are expected to develop a dynamic research program in developmental biology, and to contribute to teaching and training. The successful candidate should show evidence of research excellence in their field, be a strong communicator, and exhibit strength in teaching as well as in mentoring. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, organogenesis, tissue regeneration, pattern formation, morphogenesis or craniofacial and developmental anomalies. The successful candidate will become a member of the UCSF Biomedical Sciences, Developmental and Stem Cell Biology and Oral and Craniofacial Sciences graduate programs.
