Description

Junior or Assistant Specialist- Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at UCSF

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is looking for a researcher who is interested in a Specialist position at UCSF.

The purpose of this position is to develop, improve, and/or implement MR imaging and analysis methods for the evaluation of patients with brain tumors, with the overall goal of improving the sensitivity and specificity for planning therapy and assessing tumor aggressiveness and the effects of treatment. This will include analyzing a variety of physiologic and metabolic imaging methods and incorporating machine learning in order to relate results to clinical outcome. Specifically, this requires implementing robust and reproducible methods for obtaining data that describe the brain’s metabolism and relating multi-parametric indices to pathological, radiographic response, and outcome measures.

Requirements:

  • To be appointed at the Junior rank, applicants' current CV must state a bachelor’s degree.
  • To be appointed at the Assistant rank, applicants' current CV must state a master’s degree.
