Academic Surgical Pathologist

The Department of Pathology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), is seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time clinical faculty position in surgical pathology. The academic appointment will be at the rank of Health Sciences Clinical Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor in the Health Sciences Clinical or Clinical X series, depending on level of experience and qualifications.
Qualified candidates must hold an MD or MBBS degree, have or be eligible for a valid California Medical License and be either Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology. All applicants must have or will have completed fellowship training within anatomic pathology or have its equivalent in clinical experience at the time of appointment; this should be noted in the CV. Priority will be given to candidates with demonstrated interest/success in scholarly activities in their specialty area. The desirable candidate will also have outstanding diagnostic and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
