California- Department of Veterans Affairs California Health Care System, Fresno, CA, affiliated with University of California- San Francisco Medical Residency Program, leader in health care quality is recruiting for a full-time faculty member in Gastroenterology, to join a growing GI Division with an accredited GI fellowship. Successful candidate must be board eligible or certified in Gastroenterology, have a Medical Degree (MD, DO or equivalent), have a residency completed in Internal Medicine and a fellowship completed in Gastroenterology, possess basic endoscopic skills, including diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, and have a background and interest in clinical research participation. Candidate must be eligible to obtain a US medical license. Successful candidate will assume a significant leadership role in an ACGME-accredited GI fellowship. Endoscopic ultrasound desired, but not required. Fresno is located 3 hours south of San Francisco and just 2 hours from 3 national parks, including Yosemite, and all year recreation.
