Department of Medicine

The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco seeks a limited number of Medicine faculty to lead clinical outcomes research in any subspecialty of medicine. The department has particular interest in faculty who will address fundamental questions about the care of people with the goal of improving health and ameliorating the effects of disease. Support is available to develop research programs. Applicants must have an MD, MD equivalent, or PhD. Applicant must also be Board Certified in a subspecialty for those who have MD credentials. Training and experience in clinical research is required as well as ABIM certification. Appointments will be at the assistant, associate or full professor level (depending on qualifications) in the In-Residence series.
