Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor In Residence
The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a lab-based investigator at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to lead a research laboratory and translational research program focusing on NF1-driven brain tumors. The individual will be expected to be a principal investigator in the UCSF Brain Tumor Center and a member of the Neuro-Oncology Program of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. An MD, PhD, MD-PhD (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of post graduate training and extensive research experience in NF1-driven pathways and systems biology approaches to understanding the role of NF1 in gliomagenesis are required. Successful candidates will be expected to build an NIH-funded independent research program as well as to interact with the vibrant Ras-signaling and brain tumor communities at UCSF.
