Junior or Assistant Specialist Position - UCSF

I am looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented and organized individual who had completed college-level biology course, and has some previous hand-on research experiences. This position will be working on a research project focused on transcriptional regulation of dental epithelial cells in the process of polarity establishment and vesicle secretion. This project involves molecular biology, cell culture, protein analysis and histology skills, including PCR and gel electrophoresis, DNA cloning, purification and analysis, mammalian cell culture, gene and protein expression analyses, and histology skills. This individual must keep an organized detailed lab notebook, and will be playing a strong role in preparing this project for future publication. Minimal one-year commitment is required. Minimum/Basic Qualifications required at the time of application:
The candidate must have a B.S. or equivalent degree in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology, or a related field.
