Thoracic/Lung Transplant Surgeon
Assistant/Associate Level Professor of Surgery University of California, San Francisco
The Department of Surgery, University of California, San Francisco, has an immediate need for a fullĀ¬ time, early- to mid-career thoracic surgeon. Candidates must be skilled in all aspects of general thoracic surgery and have advanced training and demonstrated excellent clinical skill in lung transplantation, thoracic organ recovery, ECMO and cardiopulmonary bypass. The candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in thoracic surgery at the time of hire. Candidates must also be committed to an academic career that combines outstanding patient care, excellent clinical outcomes and/or basic research, and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.
