Clinical Geneticists, Health Sciences Clinical or Clinical X Faculty Series
UCSF Departments of Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Cancer Center
UCSF is embarking on a significant expansion of our Medical Genetics services. We are recruiting clinical geneticists to be appointed at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank of the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical or Clinical X faculty series: (1) a cancer geneticist who will participate in and oversee the Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program; (2) a pediatric general geneticist who will have clinical responsibilities at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco and Oakland; (3) and a general geneticist with broad experience in management of adults with inherited conditions.
Applicants must possess a medical degree and license, Board certification in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine as appropriate, and Board eligibility or certification in Clinical Genetics. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated skill in the provision of genetics care to diverse populations and demonstrated participation in scholarly activities related to education of medical students or residents, collaborative clinical research studies, or other academic activities.
