Chair, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science

The School of Medicine at UC San Francisco seeks an outstanding individual to lead its Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science. The successful candidate will have exceptional administrative and organizational skills and a national reputation as a leader in academic medicine in the areas of medical education, clinical care and research. The individual chosen will have major responsibilities in the overall direction of this distinguished department. Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist, or eligible to be licensed, in California. Preferred qualifications include but are not limited to: terminal doctoral degree, PhD, DSc, EdD or equivalent; experience in professional DPT and PhD training programs; understanding of current clinical practice; demonstrated research experience.
